It was my pleasure to DJ a beautiful wedding at Still Waters Ranch in Falcon, Colorado. The ranch setting created a warm and memorable backdrop for the celebration, with family and friends coming together for a night of music, dancing, and special moments.
Outdoor weddings are beautiful, but they also require quick decisions. The ceremony brought strong wind, so I adjusted the microphone setup to make sure the officiant could still be heard clearly. That is one of those behind-the-scenes details couples may not notice, but it matters. A good wedding DJ has to be ready to adapt to the weather, the space, and the moment.
The reception had a relaxed ranch feel, with family, conversation, special dances, and a smaller rotating dance floor throughout the night. By the end, the couple’s final song was already ready because I could feel the night naturally coming to a close, and a few minutes later the bride came over and said it was time. That is what I love about wedding DJ work: it is not just music. It is timing, awareness, flexibility, and helping the night feel natural from ceremony to final song.
